Installing a horizontal outlet toilet

One of the most common types of installations is a rear inlet toilet, like our Acro toilet.

Step 1: To make it easier, remove the flush mechanism inside the cistern.

Step 2: Fit the stop valve and tighten it with an adjustable wrench. It is important to ensure there are no leaks.

Step 3: Fit the rear inlet connection kit to the stop valve. To align the pipe correctly, bend it slightly using a bending machine or screwdriver. It is important to fit the kit pieces in the correct sequence, following the instructions.

Step 4: Replace the flush valve.

How to install a floor-standing toilet

The installation of a vertical outlet toilet, like the Urban C floor-standing toilet, is also a simple process.

Step 1: Place the toilet in the installation position and mark out the footprint of the toilet using a pencil. Also mark the position of the fixing holes.

Step 2: Remove the toilet and measure the distance to fit the plastic fixings correctly. Based on these measurements, install the fixing brackets and make sure they are in the correct position.

Step 3: Screw the flexible water supply hose onto the toilet.

Step 4: Fit the wax seal.

Step 5: Fit the toilet by applying even pressure. Do not move it once it is in position as this could break the hermetic seal.

Step 6: Connect the supply hose to the outlet and turn on the water supply.

Step 7: Secure the toilet with the fixing kit provided.

Step 8: Install the hinges for the seat. Position the seat correctly and then tighten the screws.

Step 9: Apply the sealant around the base of the toilet.

Step 10: Regulate the flush according to the instructions in the manual. Line up the flush mechanisms with the cistern lid and put it in place.
