Lignage, a Premium collection designed exclusively for Noken by Ramón Esteve, has been chosen for the interior equipment category at the 2020 ADI Delta Awards, organised by the FAD Association of Industrial Design. For almost 60 years the awards have given recognition to the work of industrial designers and companies, shining a spotlight on design as a tool to generate wealth in the industrial economy, and a means of expressing social and cultural values.
Lignage is being included in the Delta Selection thanks to its updated classical style and contribution to water saving. The jury is made up of a panel of experts in various fields of product design, this year including designers Matali Crasset and Davide Groppi, the director of the German iF Design Awards Frank Zierenberg and architect Marta Alonso. The jury recognise the innovative essence of the series, its integration of technology and design, and its sustainable design.
The Delta Awards ceremony will be held on 24 November 2020: the winners will be announced on the night, with a celebration of the value of design.
About the ADI Awards
Over their 60 year history the ADI Awards have shone a spotlight on design as a problem-solving, cultural and social tool.
Held twice a year by the FAD Association of Industrial Design, the ADI Awards have included various types of acknowledgements over the years: the Delta Awards for professionals and companies, since 1961; the ADI Medals for students, introduced in 1976; and most recently the ADI Culture Awards, awarded to projects that highlight design culture since 2016.
