Trends for Bathrooms in 2015: the modern style that never goes out of fashion

La sencillez formal y la sutileza estética son claves que han convertido el estilo moderno en uno de los más longevos en diseño de baños por su versatilidad

Both formal simplicity and aesthetic subtlety are the key points that have turned modern style into one of the longest standing in the interior design world. With countless followers in the decorators and interior designer guild, mainly because of its versatility.

Among the basics that help to create atmospheres with a modern touch, and that are repeated in all kinds of rooms, the furniture pieces and the minimalist equipment are those that must not be missing from any room. Defined by formal simplicity and the use of rectilinear elements, where the ornamentation is virtually non-existent.

The American firm, Eisner Design LLC, has carried out the configuration of a contemporary style apartment building located in East 7th Street in New York. A project in which it has counted on Noken's bathroom equipment, installing the bathroom fittings and sanitary ware from some of the firm’s most famous collections.

Among some of the other materials from the PORCELANOSA Group, the en-suite bathrooms   are equipped with NK One sanitary ware and cistern, characterized by its timeless design and excellent functionality. Sanitary ware has been matched with the bathroom taps from the same series, characterised by its rectilinear design.

Keeping in line with the square format of the NK One taps used on the bath in the secondary bedroom, the concealed bath spout from the NK Logic collection has been installed, matched with the shower head of this series, which maintains the same formal philosophy of bathroom fittings for the bathtub. The casual and contemporary aesthetics of the NK Logic shower head fitted in so well with the project that it has also been installed in the shower in the master bedroom.

The removal of the decorative excesses, and the luminosity strengthening through light colours, such as white, grey and beige on floors and walls contributes to the creation of a bathroom atmosphere that never goes out of date, thanks to both its elegance and formal sobriety.
