Noken supplies 30% of energy with photovoltaic power

This initiative in favor of sustainability is equivalent to avoiding 100 tons of CO2 emissions per year, as well as planting 150 trees annually.

Noken, in line with WaterForest, its commitment to sustainability and its desire to raise awareness of the importance of caring for the environment, has an outstanding photovoltaic power plant for self-consumption within the bathroom solutions industry.

The project has involved an investment of 135,000 euros and is supported by a grant of 19,964.78 euros from the incentive programme linked to self-consumption and storage, with renewable energy sources, as well as the implementation of renewable thermal systems in the residential sector within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, financed by the European Union - Next Generation EU.

The solar power plant, installed by Elektrosol, consists of 400 rooftop panels, equivalent to a total installed power of 216 kWp and two Huawei inverters, with which the Porcelanosa Group company estimates to generate 289241 kWh each year.

This installation generates 30% of the energy consumption of its production process. This is equivalent to avoiding 100 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year, as well as planting 150 trees annually.

Following a positive analysis of the first months, the company is already planning a second expansion of the photovoltaic plant.

A further gesture towards helping the planet, in addition to the WaterForest movement, through which it offers solutions to save up to 89% of water in the home and in public spaces.

The change you choose.
