On the 26th of June, an event took place at Oman’s InterContinental Hotel to raise awareness of Noken and Al Faras (a company specialised in the distribution of exclusive brands of bathroom fittings, including our products) among consultants, architects and interior designers.
Attendees at the event could see for themselves the new developments in finishes and designs by Noken, including the new Urban-c bathroom collection and the award-winning MOOD collection, designed by Luis Vidal + Architects and Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners. These two collections are characterised by their clear commitment to technology and innovation, and are revolutionising the field of bathroom fittings.
As well as representatives from Noken and Al Faras, Juan José Urtasun Erro, the Spanish ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, and Sergio Vela, economic and commercial advisor to the Ministry of Commerce, attended the event.
With this event, Noken continues to increase its presence in the Persian Gulf, where it already has branches in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Qatar, Bahrein and Kuwait, which have been offering high quality materials for years, helping to strengthen the international profile of the Porcelanosa group brand.
The wide recognition received by Noken’s products has allowed us to provide some of the materials used in the construction of the luxury Muscat Hills complex in Oman, including bathroom fittings from the Arquitect collection and taps from the Lounge collection, designed by Simone Micheli. The project managers have also used the technical solutions from the series of built-in Smart Line and Smart Box elements to fit the bathrooms.
