Once again, this year the Maison & Objet Paris fair comes to town. One of the most important events for the interior design, decor and lifestyle sector; it is the most important event in France. An excellent opportunity to find out about those trends that will make their mark in design. This event sees some 90.000 visitors turn up in its latest editions, from which more than 50% are international.
We focus our designs for this year on wearable and functional solutions, and pieces with an aesthetic touch. Modular and highly resistant solutions for spaces with demanding use, more sustainable bathroom equipment, responsible for water and energy consumption, and collections with an exquisite and timeless aesthetic.
Oxo worktops: modularity and high resistance
The Oxo collection is made up of worktops, shelves and auxiliary furniture, coated with XTONE, the sintered mineral from PORCELANOSA Grupo, which is presented for Maison & Objet in a Glem Nature finish. A material which makes its technical peculiarities grow: highly waterproof, scratch-resistant and resistant to chemical elements; it also has low maintenance and easy cleaning features. Bathroom pieces suitable for contract projects.
Its modularity allows the bathroom design to be completely customised through different combinations and options in measurements, finishes and tooling for worktop basins.
At the stand, the Oxo worktop is complemented by the new Liem basin with a 7mm thin edge and rounded edges, made of high quality Noken Ceramic, 56cm in width and in a white matt finish.
The Oxo series belongs to the Signature Collection, the Premium range by Noken designed exclusively by and for this company.
Round: the sustainable taps in black matt
The black matt finish is one of the trends preferred by interior designers for bathroom atmospheres. For all those who want a total black look, Porcelanosa Bathrooms offers black matt bathroom taps and bathroom accessories which offer sophisticated and timeless atmospheres in the Round tap collection, with a light and stylised aesthetic.
For its part, TEC Round is a thermostatic shower column with a round shower head, extendable shower bar with a sliding hand shower holder and a minimal hand shower.
The Round tap is environmentally friendly, since it has a design which allows energy to be saved by applying the cold opening technology. This helps to save and limit water consumption to a maximum of 5 litres per minute. For its part, the TEC Round shower column has a flow rate at 3 bars in the hand shower of 8.84L per minute and 8.68L per minute in the shower head.
The series is included in WaterForest, the sustainable commitment by Noken, an initiative which encourages the saving of resources for the preservation of the future. A range of equipment capable of saving water, energy and reducing CO2 emissions, and that contributes to obtaining international certificates for sustainable buildings such as Leed and Breeam with bathroom projects with which up to 89% of water can be saved.
