Drawing Boards. Elegance and functionality of Noken in a house in the Scottish countryside

Para llevar a cabo el equipamiento de baños de esta vivienda en Escocia, se ha confiado en las máximas prestaciones de Noken. Estrenamos Drawing Boards.

By combining the use of attractive architectural drawings with other images, we use for the first time the Drawing Boards section, through which we moved to an elegant house in the Scottish countryside. With regard to installing the bathroom equipment in this two-floored home in the city of Falkirk, in the heart of Scotland, the best performance from Noken, the PORCELANOSA Grupo firm, has been relied on, giving this ambitious residential project the quality, exclusivity and practicality of its products in bathroom design.

Owners and preliminary requirements

David Drummond inherited this residence, into which he thought about moving with his wife and their new-born daughter. A bathroom refurbishment was needed and he decided to trust in PORCELANOSA Grupo to do it. First on his to do list was that the downstairs’ bathroom was used less, thus giving the leading role to the one on the first floor.

The Project

Being faithful to nature in the rural landscapes in the ancient Scottish county of Stirling, dotted by exquisite residences taken from another era, an eclectic interior design: classic and refined, but both modern and urban has been set up in this distinguished house located halfway between Edinburgh and Glasgow. Regarding the bathrooms, this house has two bathrooms, with a shower room on the ground floor and a complete bathroom on the first. All have been exquisitely designed by Noken so that the experience in the bathroom is as complete as it is unique.

Ground Floor Shower RoomFunctionality in a bath of reduced dimension

Our tour through this unique home in Falkirk stops at the ground floor bathroom, a stay with compact elements whose top priority is functionality. Since this is a bathroom with reduced dimensions, a wall hung sanitary ware such as the Architect sanitaryware from Noken is perfect, not only for its adaptation to a small space, getting rid of everything that is not necessary, but also for its ease of cleaning.

With regard to the shower space, this is set on one side of the room, creating a small space for a quick and pleasant shower, thanks to bath products such as the Urban shower or the Neptune Slim Rondo rainshower. The final details of the ground floor bathroom in this house complete the perfect room: the bathroom accessories in chrome finish from the Nantes series and the heated towel rail from the NK Logic collection, are ideal for the proper functioning of the bathroom collection.

First Floor Bathroom. Elegance and spaciousness

The bathroom on the first floor is stately and elegant, with the main bathroom in the house. It consists of a large room where the freestanding Conic bathtub with wall mounted taps to the floor is the star. In the case of the sanitary ware, the same wall hung sanitar yware from the Architect series remains as well as the luxurious bathroom accessories for the Nantes bathroom. The heated towel rail is, however, from the Inox series and it offers its functionality and technology.
