Cersaie, the Bologna Trade Fair, has been the event chosen by Porcelanosa to carry out the official presentation of its innovative bathroom collection: the Tono series.
Tono turns out to be the result of the collaboration between two leading firms: PORCELANOSA Grupo and the renowned Foster+Partners British architecture studio, which joins its career in the design field with both the quality and functionality of the bathroom products by Porcelanosa. Two firms, one philosophy, and endless possibilities.
With regard to Tono, the collection brings together an aesthetics which comes from the functionality and the inherent properties of the materials used. It is a series where each and every item has been conceived in order to take people by surprise, by showing simplicity, functionality and elegance. By means of Tono, bathrooms are customised, and they are adapted to suit both taste and context, since everything works as a single element in the tono series. It is this very way that the collection is defined, with a wide assortment and flexibility in its items.
Tono is made up by taps, basins and wall-hung sanitaryware, a concept of integral and highly-contemporary bathrooms.
Tono taps: elegance meets functionality
The Tono bathroom taps are solid, but at the same time, light, intuitive and functional. Their grooved lever facilitates the grip and its use. With regard to finishes, Tono offers a wide range of them, both in gloss and satin finishes: chrome, titanium, gold and copper. A big array of designs which makes Tono a collection suitable for any space in the bathroom as well as for any design or decoration.
Tono basins: the ‘less is more’ beauty
The Tono basins mix minimalism together with functionality. Their organic shapes express an elegance which is not broken by any of the bathroom items. One can find countertop basins or wall hung ones, as well as angled or slightly straighter ones.
Tono sanitaryware: excellent designs with high ceramic quality
The sanitaryware from the Tono collection are wall hung. Their uniqueness lies in the fact of having been manufactured with Noken Ceramic®, the high-quality ceramic by Noken, which keeps the essence of the collection and at the same time shows fine elegant shapes. Likewise, the sanitaryware are highlighted because of the design of the pan lid, an original shelf-shaped wooden lid which provides the bathroom atmosphere with both exclusivity and distinctiveness. In addition to this, the sanitaryware exudes both functionality and practicality, since their wall-hung format makes cleaning easier and the sanitaryware can be reduced so that it takes up minimum space.
