With a project which is striking for both its modern, avant garde design and its relevance, we discover an unusual application of Noken bathroom fittings and taps. This is the Zenith Theatre in Constantine, located in the outskirts of this Mediterranean Algerian city, very close to its international airport.

The PTW Architects studio, in collaboration with CCDI, has been in charge of undertaking this project which combines the most advanced technical equipment with design principles based on the history and culture of Algeria. With this, the Zenith Theatre, Constantine hopes to become a cultural reference point for the African continent.

In order to adapt to the irregularities of the land, the construction is set out over three levels which allow most of the slopes created by the existing hills to be offset. With a flexible design able to adapt to different functions, the Zenith Theatre contains a large music hall with a capacity for 3,000 spectators, as well as two smaller auditoriums for 150 and 300 people.

For the bathroom fittings of the building, Noken products have been used. Among the materials and products installed in the project, in the Theatre’s bathrooms we find the Mini Sani (bold and full of character) and NK One (with a modern design of square lines) models of washbasin mixer taps; the practical and elegant toilets of the NK Compact collection and functional Acro urinals; and washbasins from the Jam series (with a minimalist, geometric design) and the NK Sani series (with a dynamic, modern design combining straight lines with curves). Furthermore, for fitting the bathrooms of the dressing rooms, the City shower pack and Hotels external shower mixer tap have been installed, all complemented by accessories from the Easy series.
