Noken, the bathroom equipment  firm from the PORCELANOSA Grupo has updated both  its strong commitment to sustainability and its environmentally friendly approach.

On October the 19th, 20th and 21st, it was present at the Green Building Expo, a world event dedicated to eco-friendly architecture, presented by means of three central pillars: the city, the landscape and the building.

Regarding the latter, the Green Building Expo event wanted to emphasize topics which are in fashion at present, such as both energy savings and modelling, as well as the guidelines and regulations to carry out sustainable constructions. In this necessary energy, when carrying out contemporary architecture and interior design projects, Noken offered its technological sustainable Mood taps, which are able to provide the home with a considerable water saving.

Mood and digital technology

The Mood taps series, designed by Luis Vidal + Architects, came about in response to the responsible use of water. In short, we are dealing with taps which focus on offering ‘more for less’, thanks to the digital technology use which allows for achieving an important water saving. It is an expense reduction of this natural resource because of a complete customisation function which is provided by the taps. Hence, it makes the consumer become aware of responsible use, and furthermore, it helps them enjoy a much more pleasant experience in the bathroom, thanks to both the flow rate and temperature controls.

Likewise, Mood taps provide the bathroom with high functionality. Their intuitive icons make both its use and working easier, with no effort at all by the user. By means of this technological design, it is now possible to create an excellent personal underwater experience, without compromising the considerable contribution to energy efficiency.

Being both environmentally and user friendly, these have been the main reasons why Noken has developed this product. Noken took the user’s experience into account, thus, it favoured both their intuitive use and the entire satisfaction of their everyday needs.
