Hedonistic luxury in the bathrooms in Chalet Manasa

Valentine Glutron has created a six-storey house with an area of 800 square metres, designed for a hedonist retreat in the French Alps.

Pleasure as the maximum goal is portrayed in the bathroom design of the private and common areas through signature designs and fine materials.

One can find Chalet Manasa in Courchevel, in the French Alps. A residential project designed for wellness by the architect Valentine Glutron. Along its six floors and 800 square metres of comforting retreat, it includes leisure areas such as: a cinema, a bar and a disco, a wine tasting cellar, and some chef and butler services. It has six en suite bedrooms and a separate two-room apartment.

The lower floor is for the Wellness area, designed to house a spa with shower, pool, jacuzzi and a hammam; as well as a massage room, a beauty salon, a gym and a games room.

The project has bathrooms in private and common areas alike. Their interior design has been overseen by Valentine Glutron, who has opted for signature bathrooms and the technical equipment from Noken, combined with natural and fine materials such as stone and wood in both wall tiles and floor tiles.

Bathrooms as spaces for a natural retreat

In the bathrooms in the private bedrooms, the technology in the equipment results in an atmosphere of natural design. Fine materials such as wood and stone are present in the NK Concept smart toilets, a technological seat model which allows for greater personal hygiene, as well as comfort thanks to the water washing feature, which is customisable regarding position, temperature and drying. Essence C wall hung toilets in white matt or the Lounge signature single lever taps, designed by Simone Micheli, with refined, geometric and excellent lines.

The accessories also play a leading role in the bathrooms of the project. Robe hooks, shelves and toilet roll holders from the Forma and Lounge collections in chrome and copper finishes, complement the designs, decking out the rooms with both sophistication and functionality.

The NK Concept Intelligent Toilets, a digital toilet with the water washing feature, customisable in position, temperature and drying. With heating and a presence sensor, for automatic seat lifting and lighting for night use. And the Lounge wall mounted taps for basins in a chrome finish.

In the staff bathrooms and those in the Wellness common area, we can also find signature design and high technology in bathroom equipment. The Lounge signature taps have been installed in the various staff basins, as well as in the showers of the pool, the massage area and the hammam, all covered with natural materials.
